VICTORIA ISD SECONDARY SCHOOLS REINFORCE GUIDELINES ON ELECTRONIC DEVICES AHEAD OF SPRING BREAK

As Victoria ISD and our campuses prepare for the upcoming Spring Break, Victoria ISD wants to reaffirm our commitment to maintaining a productive learning environment at all of our campuses.

In alignment with this commitment, and to provide ample notice to parents/guardians prior to the return of students from spring break, we will be strictly enforcing the VISD Student Handbook regarding the Possession of Telecommunications or Other Electronic Devices, as outlined in district policy FNCE(Local).

As we embrace the pre-kindergarten theme of the year, "Leap into Learning," it's the perfect moment to reflect on the monumental leaps our children take as they embark on their educational journey.

Enrolling a child in an early education program can be one of the most significant steps a parent takes in ensuring their child's future success. Victoria ISD understands the importance of this leap and offers an exceptional opportunity through its Tuition-Based Pre-Kindergarten Program.

BEND THE TREND TO EXPAND TO CHANDLER ELEMENTARY

Bend the Trend (BTT), a proactive initiative dedicated to providing early intervention and support for students exhibiting social-emotional and mental health needs proudly announces its expansion to Chander Elementary. This expansion marks a significant step forward in our commitment to fostering the well-being and success of students within our community.

CRAIN ELEMENTARY INVITES FAMILIES OF INCOMING KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS TO A CAMPUS TOUR TO EXPLORE THE DUAL LANGUAGE PROGRAM

Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, Crain Elementary School will be the site of VISD’s groundbreaking Dual Language Program. We are pleased to announce an upcoming campus tour for families who are interested in registering their incoming kindergarten students.

VICTORIA EAST HIGH SCHOOL TITAN SPEECH AND DEBATE TEAM SHINES AT NATIONAL QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT

This past weekend, the Victoria East High School Titan Speech and Debate team made their way to Harlingen to participate in the National Speech and Debate Association (NDSA) Gulf Coast National Qualifying Tournament. We are thrilled to announce that four outstanding Titans have secured their spots to compete in the prestigious National Speech and Debate Tournament scheduled for June.
